The current line of trucks and cars provide very little real estate to for any easy mounting of our beloved amateur radio equipment. It seems like every square inch of dash and floorboard space contains some sort of control or display. This is especially true for those of us who want to operate HF mobile in a truck with a fold down center-console bench seat in front. Commercial no holes mounts are a compromise at best. The mounts that require drilling are better but expensive.
