Ellis County R.A.C.E.S.

 
Ellis County RACES is a group of over 50 FCC licensed Amateur Radio operators who volunteer their equipment and time to the citizens of North Texas.

The Ellis County RACES organization performs both the RACES (Radio Amateurs in Civil Emergency Service) function for the Waxahachie/Ellis County Offices of  Emergency Management and the ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service)  function for our local served agencies.

Ellis County RACES/SKYWARN training nets are held the first Thursday of every month at 7:30 pm on the 2 meter repeater.

Ellis County RACES/ARES training nets are held the second Thursday of the month immediately following the ECARC Information Net which begins at 7:30 pm on the 2 meter machine.
