We provide Volunteer
Examiners to administer license examinations in the Amateur Radio
Service.
Our testing session will be conducted on 4th
Thursday of each month. The test team needs to know in advance what test
you intend to take (Technician, General, Extra) so that we can have test
available. The test team needs your contact information (Name, Address,
phone number, e-mail address) so that we can let you know of any changes
in our test date, location or other necessary information. The test team will need to have the following items from you at the test session prior to the start of the test. Click here for more information about getting ready for your exam a. $14.00 in cash which is the required testing fee. We cannot accept checks or credit cards for this fee. b. We will need photo copies of two forms of identification. One of them must be a photo ID such as drivers license, company ID card, concealed gun permit, etc. The other can be anything with your name and correct address on it. Do not use your social security card. The photo copies will be retained by the test team. c. You may use a calculator but the memory must be cleared prior to the test. This is only handy on the Extra test. Technician and General tests normally do not require it. d. If you have a present Amateur License the Test Team will need a photo copy of it which will be retained by the test team. Test Team will notify you in advance of the location and time of the test session if different from the following location.
