Tour d' Italia 2026 Successfully Completed

The Tour d' Italia bike event for 2026 came to a successful conclusion on June 20th, 2026. A cool and cloudy morning start led to fewer calls for assistance from the SAG vehicles. As usual, the event execution went without a hitch sale for one issue. The SAG kits that were to be handed out were accidently loaded into thr Resden support trailer. The folks at Resden had no idea what thet were. We had a lot of new faces manning the positions.

No event related accidents were reported on the routes however, Net Control did relay a unrelated traffic accident to 911.

"My wife came with me. We had a good time. I was a little anxious going into it since I had never done it before. It was great though. I think we ended up having to go out and get 4 riders and take them to rest stops or back to start/stop. Business was slow in the morning, but picked up after the sun came out and the riders started getting to this 30-40 mile marks. Sign me up again next year ."
